1.5 Measurement and Evaluation System

Measurement and Evaluation System

The educator employs various methods to assess student learning. At the conclusion of each quarter, a periodic test will be administered. In junior high school, an academic semester is segmented into four quarters, while in senior high school, it is divided into two quarters. Consequently, a periodic test will take place during the final quarter. The educator also utilizes authentic assessment techniques, which include posing questions to students for their portfolios, activities, and exercises. Additionally, performance-based learning is sometimes implemented, where students are tasked with creating slogans, posters, dramas, dances, and performances related to the subject matter.

1.4 Materials and other Learning Sources

Materials and Other Learning Sources

The school lacks a comprehensive system for learning materials and resources. The teacher believes that having adequate learning materials is essential for effective instruction. While the school is equipped with various facilities, including a sports court, library, laboratory, multimedia room, art space, garden, salon room, computer room, and television for all classes, these resources are often insufficient. The limited number of books available to students indicates that the learning resources primarily rely on the teacher's input.

1.3 Teaching System

Teaching System

Basic education is categorized into two segments: Junior High School, which encompasses grades 7 through 10, and Senior High School, covering grades 11 and 12. In this context, educators utilize the Daily Lesson Plan (DLP) alongside the Daily Lesson Log (DLL). Both tools serve as essential guides in the teaching and learning process. The Daily Lesson Log incorporates the 7Es framework for effective lesson planning.
